Christmas and New Year TV campaigns on ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, GMTV, More4, Sky and IDS channels comprising of a 30 second advert, supported by six product specific 10 second adverts respectively for Christmas and New Year.
Campaign Low down
The commercials feature the now established voice of Neil Morrissey as the animated character Mr Plug. The Christmas ad sees Mr Plug take a magical flight of fancy around a Euronics store after dark. In a cross between A Christmas Carol and The Snowman Mr Plug shows Percy some of the products that Euronics have to offer its customers in the build up to the festive period. The New Year ad takes us behind the scenes into a Euronics store room where products are lit by shafts of light and dust particles magically dance around to set a magical scene with Mr Plug letting the customer know that the service and pricing you receive at Euronics isn't just a one-off special it's like this all year round.
