Nathan Lane
Golley Slater PR has promoted Nathan Lane to managing director of its Birmingham PR office.
Nathan (32) relocated from Leeds PR agency Brahm to join Golley Slater in October 2005 as deputy managing director of the Birmingham PR office. He replaced Jan Buckingham, who has been promoted to Chairman of the PR Division at Golley Slater. (PR Week 26/1/07)
Currently vice-chairman of the PRCA in the Midlands, Nathan was formally the chairman elect of the CIPR’s Yorkshire and Lincolnshire regional committee and previously worked for nine years at two of the North’s leading PR consultancies where he worked on a range of major accounts. During his first year with Golley Slater, the Birmingham PR office as been short listed for three PRide Awards - the Charity and the Not For Profit categories for client, County Air Ambulance as well as being nominated as PR Team of the Year.
Commenting on his promotion, Nathan says: “I am excited to be managing an enthusiastic team who genuinely want to produce creative and results orientated work for a wide range of clients. I also plan to further build the excellent reputation of Golley Slater PR within the Midlands.”
Golley Slater Birmingham's PR and Advertising division is all set to leave its Edgbaston HQ in March and move into The Fort, Urban Splash's high profile former Dunlop factory development in Birmingham.
