St Ann's Hospice
St Ann's Hospice in Greater Manchester has hired Golley Slater Public Relations, following a four-way pitch.
Golley Slater will be support the charity's internal marketing, communications and fundraising activity and will initially work to drive recruits with St Ann's annual May Midnight Walk, which is part of its Go Yellow campaign. The agency will also be focussed on cultivating corporate and celebrity contacts for the hospice, altering the public's misconceptions surrounding hospices and generating publicity to encourage funding from legacies.
Terry McDonnell, Chief Executive at St Ann's Hospice commented: "We were very impressed by the creativity and enthusiasm demonstrated by Golley Slater. As a regional charity we wanted to work with an agency that understands our local media as well as having a strong presence within the corporate community. We look forward to working with the team in 2007."
St Ann's Hospice is the latest in a series of account wins for the Manchester PR office. Golley Slater's growing list of clients include The British Army, Victoria Foods, More Than Group, JLG, bpi.films and The Leadership Factor.
