Golley Slater is looking for an ambitious Account Director/ Senior Account Director, who want to grow their career with us. Great experience within Direct Marketing (on and off line) is essential. The role will be based within the agencies established client services team and will play a significant part is the day to day running of some of our agencies largest accounts.
You’ll have at least 5 years marketing experience, ideally agency or client-side with working relationships with agency and will be ready and eager to move onto your next challenge.

You’ll love your job, enjoy working closely with the people around you, the senior team, your team and your clients. ‘People skills’ are what the job is all about and you’ll be happy and confident communicating with everyone from the most senior clients to junior Creative teams. You’ll have a passion for being a key part of the strategic and creative process - whether you’re writing concise, insightful briefs, critiquing creative concepts or presenting to clients.
With plenty of agency experience, you’ll already know the ropes. You’ll also have an excellent understanding of Direct and Digital comms, strategy & creative, and a keen commercial eye when it comes to managing client budgets and growing agency revenue. You’ll be a key part of the client strategy meetings, working closely with the Planning and Creative Directors. With a buzzing team, you’ll also have a readiness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
The role of Account Director/Senior Account Director is particularly important in our Agency. You’ll head up a team that is well-versed in the delivery of projects on behalf of our clients. You’ll be responsible for them and their output, as well as their development.
You’ll be one the most senior points of contact for your clients within the Agency, and as you’d expect the Client/Agency relationship is key.
You’ll also own the commercial and strategic development of your accounts. New business is something all of the senior team are involved in, and you’ll be included in pitches as well as ongoing business development outside of your own accounts.
