Chiller units were put next to the till points in Morrisons last week as part of a trial to help offer additional space for fresh produce and push impulse purchasing.

This offers additional opportunities for cross-category promotions and could be beneficial for FMCG clients that have a focus in the chilled categories, for example ‘Breakfast-on-the-go’ could be a quick option for commuters during the morning rush.

This was part of a Head Office walk around in our local Guiseley store, so only featured for the day, watch this space as they could be rolling out in stores soon.
