Golley Slater PRM made the most of the sunny Yorkshire weather on Friday 4th May at their annual company away day.

The PRM business headed out to the North Yorkshire Moors to make the most of an activity-filled day with each and every employee. Colleagues were placed into teams, each having to complete six activities in the hope of being crowned the champion.

The day started with an address from Jason Horsman, PRM’s Managing Director, who congratulated the teams on another successful year and outlined the business plan for the coming financial year.

The whole point of the away day was to ensure it didn’t feel like a normal day in the office. This allowed colleagues to spend time together, share the experience and work towards a common goal, allowing team bonding to happen more organically and more effectively.

Sales Manager Tom O’Hare said “The day provided an opportunity for the teams to change current patterns and create new ways of communicating and collaborating, the energy from the new bonds that have been created has certainly been brought back into the office”.

After defying rifle shooting, archery, quad biking, 4x4 off-roading, clay pigeon shooting (and of course) Yorkshire Olympics, the green team were announced as the victors after obliterating the competition.

Jason Horsman, said, "We have a commitment to our people to make PRM a great place to work. The team are able to show the skills they develop with us, and through the PRM Academy and put them to use in high-energy scenarios. The confidence, enthusiasm and competitiveness that the team have shown today are the skills that make the work we do for our clients so successful.”
