The Challenge:

BMet is a leading collection of colleges based in Birmingham in the West Midlands.

In 2019, BMet had a challenge in conversions from application to interview, which would ultimately impact on their student enrolment numbers in the following September.

The internal student services team were contacting students, yet there were a volume of applicants that had been marked as exhausted and no further action.

The Golley Slater Solution:

Golley Slater were appointed by BMet to support them with contacting students who had not attended their interview. The main objectives of this campaign were to rebook appointments for anyone who would still like to attend BMet; gain an understanding as to why students did not want to rebook, and gather insight into which alternative provider students were selecting from the data set which BMet was no longer focusing on.

The Results:

  • 1,085 students attempted to contact
  • 331 interviews rebooked
  • 52 September enrolments
  • 11:1 ROI

Client Feedback:

If you have a project idea – go to Golley Slater. They can help turn an idea into a fully-fledged project and they are the fastest agency that I’ve ever worked with – they can whip up a project plan and then execute that plan (to great effect) within a short space of time.
