Aim: Hoover tasked the digital team at Golley Slater with handling their AdWords over the prestigious and lucrative Black Friday Event for 2017. During this time the main aim was to sell a number of their products, whilst working to strict CPA figures.

Target: This campaign was aimed at consumers who, were looking for quality brands at competitive prices at what is also the busiest time of year for Hoover.

Challenge: The challenge was to ensure that in this volatile and stormy marketplace where all the normal ‘rules’ and spends go out the window, that we remained focused on the objective, and applied our experience and learnings in a fluid and innovative way.

Solutions: Pre-Planning was key to the success of this campaign ensuring our structure and strategy were spot on, as well as attention to detail such as copy in the search ads to ensure that no corner was cut.

Outcome: The campaign was a huge success with the money speaking for itself at a £10 return for every £1 spent. The client was very happy and we continue to run their AdWords account driving cost per acquisition in a very crowded marketplace.
