Panini

Founded by the Panini brothers in 1961, the eponymous company started a tradition like no other when, in 1970, they began publishing the Panini FIFA World Cup Sticker Album.

With a loyal following and 682 stickers to collect, whether this is your 1st World Cup or your 21st, you probably know somebody who has been slowly increasing the frequency of their visits to the local shop in the last few weeks.

EA Sports

Having released full-price standalone games for every World Cup since France ’98, EA Sports delighted fans with the news that this year’s instalment would be a free update for FIFA 18 owners.

Released on 29th May, the download features updated squads and stats with the addition of the stadiums set to be used in Russia and a selection of official advertisements. Perfect just in case the real tournament doesn’t go exactly the way that you’re hoping.

The Telegraph

When it comes to football, everybody’s an expert. Whether it’s criticising Gareth Southgate for his tactical naivety or telling your colleagues at work that you knew Sardar Azmoun was going to take home the golden boot for Iran due to your expert knowledge of the Russian Premier League, we all want people to respect our genius.

The Telegraph are giving away £25,000 in prizes to the top performing teams in their Fantasy Football World Cup Edition but, for those with slightly more realistic ambitions, you can also set up private leagues to play with friends, family, colleagues and whoever else that you can find.
