The Perfect Serve

Challenge

CCEP asked Golley to create two original training videos for Coca-Cola and Schweppes.

With no suitable existing content, we were tasked with developing both videos from the ground up – covering everything from storyboarding to production and editing. The videos are designed to help bartenders across all venues master the steps to delivering the perfect post-mix serve, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

Solution

To help achieve CCEP’s wider goal of educating bartenders on delivering the perfect serve, we took a hands on, end-to-end approach to content creation. Our creative lead first developed two detailed storyboards that clearly outlined every step involved in serving Coca-Cola and Schweppes post-mix correctly.

These storyboards formed the foundation for a carefully planned video shoot, which we carried out in a hired pub setting to authentically capture each step. Once we had the footage we needed, we briefed it back into studio, where they edited the videos and added key elements including voiceover, sound effects, and on-screen text – ensuring the final product was clear, engaging, and aligned with CCEP’s training objectives.

Results

CCEP were extremely pleased with the content produced, and the success of the original videos has led to further creative opportunities. We’ve been able to repurpose footage from the original shoot to support additional campaigns. One example is the development of animations for the launch of the new tropical Schweppes soda, where we used selected clips to bring the product to life in a fresh, engaging way.

This not only maximised the value of the original shoot but also ensured visual consistency across multiple touchpoints.
