Therefore, it can be a little stressful to get your head around. The out-of-the-box standard information is fine. It does the job but why not make the most of the platform capabilities and store information that can help your marketing and sales teams get down to the nitty-gritty. For example, website URL and phone number are useful information, but what about information regarding what content they’ve recently downloaded from your website or the problems they’re currently facing in their business. You can store all this using HubSpot’s custom property fields.  

Custom Properties are one of the greatest features in HubSpot because you can shape the software to suit your business requirements.
