Restaurants across the UK suffered hugely throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. CCEP wanted to step in and support them to get back on their feet through investments in promotions and marketing campaigns. In addition, chains wanted ownership of their create and messaging. Our beverage marketing experts were challenged to create the perfect plan for both.
We worked with both CCEP and the nine chains to develop highly targeted and cost-efficient media and eCRM campaigns, bespoke to each outlet.
DOOH targeted people within a 2-mile radius of participating chains and food service delivery parameters, optimising towards impressions so ads were served as many times as possible – enabling high frequency. This also meant we were able to expand our audience reach and bring new potential customer to the chains.
We used programmatic advertising to target people across Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat within a 2-mile radius of participating restaurants with chain tailored creative, as well as email campaigns to each chain’s customer database.
